They are an excellent tool for keeping you on track with fitness and diet goals, and the feedback is always informative and helpful to encourage a better outcome at your next scan. Whilst the scan itself only takes a few minutes, it’s the follow up consultation that really takes this to the next level. Bodyscan UK is one of the most professional medical organisations I have ever visited. I looked into as many DEXA scan organisations as I could before selecting Bodyscan and I was nothing short of totally impressed. The premises is modern, super clean and very comfortable with a lovely seating area. The reception staff were pleasant and informative. However the real standout outstanding element was the professionalism of the DEXA scan operator (Rob). He was clearly totally enthusiastic and massively knowledgable along with being so approachable and fun - nothing was too much trouble for him. He took time to clearly explain technicalities, targets and discuss opinions. He made me feel so welcome and I enjoyed every moment of my experience with BodyScanUK. I'm so glad I switched from the organisation I was previously going to use as they appeared disinterested and didnt reply to email requests. BodyScanUK however always replied and were prompt - they won my custom. They even offered after appointment support which I have found so helpful. I last had a DEXA scan in Australia and it was professional and good, but the session with Rob was much more upbeat and positive. I found going through where I sat against their own database of comparison scans of women in the UK was especially helpful for putting things in perspective. Rob listened well to my current routines and helped me work out my targets and it feels realistic and achievable which is great. I find all of this really helpful for motivation. The whole session was respectful, helpful and really informative and I'd recommend to give it a go if it's something you think you might find helpful and motivational. I was immensely impressed with the in depth level of analysis that was provided by the dexa scan and by Kevin, who broke down the scan and the data it provided and explained in detail what each section meant. Any questions I had were answered in detail, and the nutritional advice I was given was much appreciated and helped me understand my next steps and goals.
