The appointment went smoothly and the report was very comprehensive. Would especially recommend in light of the fact that most scales which give body fat readings are 1) inaccurate and 2) they don't break down the body fat readings which is important considering that belly fat is the most determinantal fat. Edit: Had a 3 month scan, its interesting to see what how the changes that you make impact your body. My goal is muscle building and I didn't entirely stick to the plan that was laid out for me. Having seen the 3 month scan I am very motivated to follow the plan more carefully this time!

Such an interesting experience and fascinating process - really enjoyed looking at the results in detail after the scan. Rob was patient, friendly and made it really easy to understand what we needed to know when it came to the report. He also explained the type of goals we needed to work towards and included some great recommendations. A very knowledgeable Rob took me through the findings: scary at just what a scan taking a matter of minutes reveals about one's body. That said - this is why I went for a scan, and if I have the persistence to act on Rob's advice - I will be a lot healthier in 9 months' time. Had my first ever scan in November 2023. Philip was my consultant and he was fantastic from start to finish. I was expecting to know my body fat percentage but I came out of the consultation with more than just this number and had a greater understanding of my health status and what I needed to aim for. A calorie goal was unexpected but very much appreciated, and I feel I now have an excellent starting point to work from. At 132kg (5ft4) I have a long way to go but felt at ease from the beginning. If anyone is nervous about a DEXA scan with Bodyscan, don't be. It's worth the cost and nothing to be nervous about. I look forward to my future scans and seeing my progress over time.
