I went for a DEXA scan for two main reasons, firstly to get an accurate reading of my body fat (as scales can be wildly off), and secondly as I had a suspicion my visceral fat could be high. The experience was great - Lilly was very professional, explained the tests and what I needed to do, and finally walked me through the results and actionable recommendations, which were very comprehensive with very understandable explanations. Although I felt before I had a good understanding of my own health, in some areas I was dead wrong and the results completely changed my perspective in a number of areas which could have caused significant issues if I was not aware. Definitely worth the money and I signed up for a follow-up scan. After the session, I received the full report immediately, and a couple of days later some more detailed analysis. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to set their health up for the longer term, especially in their 50s and later.

A friendly and professional service from BodyView. This was my second DEXA scan, and the explanation of the results was clear and easy to understand. Seeing the changes in my body composition—more muscle and less fat, despite my weight staying exactly the same—was incredibly motivating. It's something you simply can't gauge from the scales alone.

I've had a couple of DEXA scans previously, and this is a great place to have one done. Jack has excellent customer service skills and made the whole process easy and enjoyable – who doesn't love a bit of self data! As a personal trainer, I often recommend DEXA scans as a starting point and for tracking progress over time. I've already sent clients to Jack and will happily continue to do so. One tip I'd give anyone considering a scan: try to use the same machine each time, or at least the same scanner and software. Small differences between DEXA systems can affect some measurements, so keeping everything consistent gives you the most meaningful comparisons over the years. Highly recommended.

This was the closest dexa scan that I was aware of being based in South Wales and it was well worth the visit! The process was well explained and I felt comfortable throughout. The results were in depth and well explained.

I booked a DEXA body composition scan on the Body View website and the whole process was straight-forward. I was greeted by the receptionist and not long before my appointment, I met Sean and was shown to the room where our consultation would take place. The DEXA process was very straight-forward, and Sean explained everything I needed to know throughout the process in detail. Thank you - I'm sure I will be back for a follow-up.

Everything from booking to the full body DEXA scan and consultation was very smooth and professional. For someone who is very focused on their health this year it has provided an excellent baseline using Gold Standard testing that can be repeated and compared to confirm progress and help refocus specific targets as the changes take place. I wish I had done this at the beginning of my health and fitness journey to get a true picture. If this is at all a consideration for you then I would urge you to get on that horse early.

My friend and I had our VO2 max tested with Saleh. He was great, very professional and he explained the test and our results excellently. The facilities were great and we will be coming back in the future.

I must admit, when I was looking to book a DEXA scan, I wasn't sure where to go or who to trust. And at the average price of around £180, I was worried I'd made a mistake. About 10 minutes into my consultation all worries had faded and I am incredibly pleased with my appointment, Kevin was excellent and I'd happily recommend his expertise to anyone. The location is actually excellent and easy to get to (don't worry if you end up in a dentists office, you're not lost) and made getting to my appointment on a hot day, while fasted dead easy. I've already recommended Kevin and BodyScan to some like minded friends and colleagues and I'd happily go back should I ever feel the need to check in again, however I feel like Kevin has given me the knowledge and tools to stay in good health for the foreseeable future.
