I had my DEXA and body composition scan at BodyView in Southampton on 19 August 2026, with Cait. Afterwards, I wished I'd done it years ago. All I had to do was lie on a comfortable scan bed, in my own clothes, for ten minutes. The building is new, smart and modern, and there's coffee, fruit and comfortable sofas in the waiting room. Cait, who carried out my scan, was absolutely lovely. I got to see inside my own body — bone, muscle and fat. It was clearly explained to me that I need to add some muscle and lose a little fat. I'd stopped weight training and started eating too much after hurting my leg two years ago, and because I could actually see my body, I couldn't ignore it any more. I now understand what the numbers, measurements and scores mean, and I'll be going back every year to check on my progress. I left feeling calm and encouraged, knowing I can do something about this. I wouldn't have known any of it had I not gone — it's so much more than a DEXA scan with numbers. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone, at whatever age. It's never too late. Great service and good value for money, and I was very reassured by Cait. Thank you so much.

Had my first DEXA scan at Bodyview Bristol - process was very slick with full instructions & reminders on multiple emails. Lilly was warm & welcoming explaining the whole process professionally. We had a great experience with Ashley today for our DEXA scans. He was extremely professional, friendly and helpful from start to finish. He took the time to explain the whole DEXA scan process clearly, what the results mean, and how we can use the information to make a plan to improve our body composition and overall health. Hi, 2nd time of using Body View for my Dexa scan, first time 6 months ago in Birmingham was a great experience. Glad to say they opened a new branch in Bristol, saving me the journey up the M5. Went back after 6 months to check on my progress. The Bristol branch experience was as great as the previous visit and a huge thanks to Lilly. As before they are a highly professional company. Wide range of options available on the website to meet peoples needs. Simple process to book and due to work commitments i had to move the dates around a couple of times and this was very easy to do and no hassle. On the day everything was managed professionally and i was in and out in no time. Everything was explained in detail and any and all questions answered. If you are serious about your health and training, this is a must have. The original report from 6 months ago was clear, concise and very comprehensive. The benefit of the follow on scan, is that you then also get the comparisons in the report to see progress. In the past i have used other companies for Dexa scans and they simply do not come close to what BodyView do and provide.
