One of Michael Mosley’s health TV programmes prompted me to book a body composition scan with The Body Scan. The results revealed that my ratio of visceral body fat was too high and my muscle mass was too low – Vital statistics which I was unaware of because my friends would say I am slim but which put me at risk of a range of health issues later on in life. The body scan only lasted a few minutes. The detailed results were clearly explained, and so were the targets to change my body composition. It was literally a wake-up call. I left armed with clear targets which prompted me to embark on a nutritional & exercise regime. Nine months on, the follow-up scan, which I recommend if you really want to see your progress, revealed that I had lost 2.7 kg of visceral body fat but increased my muscle mass by 1 kg. The whole experience was very straightforward and put me in control of my future health. A well-worth investment.

Went for a follow-up scan, and once again Rob was very professional and friendly. His explanations for the different results were easy to understand, and he was helpful and encouraging in offering ideas for moving forward. It was all very interesting as well, seeing what works and what doesn't.

I met Rob who took care of the scan for me and explained everything I needed about my body. He is very professional and has a lot of knowledge to help you with your needs.

I would recommend getting a Dexa scan, and go to Bodyscan City if convenient. Both the scan and the chat with Phil after are very informative and can serve as a real motivational tool. I certainly feel I have benefitted from going to Bodyscan City over the years.

Such a worthwhile way to spend money. Returned for a follow up recently six months after my first scan and saw a massive improvement in results based on the advice given by Rob in the first session. Rob knows his stuff, is very welcoming and understanding, as well as super helpful.

I am a competitive athlete (Men's physique Masters) and I needed an accurate assessment of my body fat, particularly visceral fat which is hard to measure with any other method. I'd never done this type of scan before - but it was as simple as I hoped. Booked online and walked in and everything was on time. Rob was highly efficient and professional. He was also very knowledgeable about my sport and understanding of what I am trying to achieve. I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone looking for accurate measurement of body fat levels regardless of their goals.
