I had a fantastic experience with Ashley today for my DEXA body composition and bone density scans. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and thorough throughout the whole appointment. Ashley took the time to explain everything clearly, talked me through my results in detail, and gave me lots of genuinely useful and practical advice based on my individual results. I particularly appreciated how approachable she was and how happy she was to answer all my questions -I came away feeling that I had learned a lot. The scan was exactly what I had hoped for, and gave me a comprehensive understanding of my body fat and lean mass along with a plan/approach to reduce fat. The centre is easy to find and very quick scanning process and results. Also the consultant took time to explain the process, how to interpret the results and discussed next steps.

A positive experience, with a few suggestions for improvement. I was very impressed with the scanner's knowledge and the information provided during my DEXA scan. I was also delighted with my results. However, I was a little disappointed that the images weren't clearer, as I would have liked to see them in more detail. I'd like to question why results were being compared with average statistics for women in the USA rather than UK women. Surely UK reference data would be more relevant when interpreting results for patients here? The premises could also benefit from a little more space, also the table looking rather worn. A separate changing area would be a welcome improvement, particularly for women, as it would offer more privacy and comfort. Overall, I'm very pleased with my results and appreciated the scanner's knowledge and professionalism. With a few improvements to the facilities and the way results are presented, the experience could be even better.
